Did you know...?
That's our daughter Olivia in our logo.
She wakes up every morning with crazy
bed head hair, demanding coffee.
How could she not be the inspiration for our name?
My name is Megan Yutesler, and my husband Donnie and I have been together 19 years. We have four children, Tony, Jackson, Henry and Olivia and have lived in St. Paul, Nebraska for 12 years. Donnie has worked at Case IH for 11 years. I own a catering business, Meg's Catering, and in addition to small parties throughout the year, I'm the exclusive caterer for Moonlight Ridge Vineyard and cater weddings every weekend April-October. So, in the midst of all of that, we work A LOT and equally live life to the fullest. I believe in experiencing as much as possible, bettering myself and living in the moment as best I can.

So Why Coffee?

Well, I personally love coffee, always have. In fact, I love it so much that I drink it black all day long. I also love it mixed and over ice and even in ice cream and candy. As a chef, I use coffee more than one might think in my baking. For quite some time I have wanted to open a coffee shop. This past September, I decided to take the steps to make that a reality. But, anyone that knows me knows I don't do anything half way.
So, instead of just opening a storefront for guests to purchase a cup of coffee and sit a while, I researched and went full on with this project, also becoming an artisan roastery. I worked with a gentleman overseas to have a first of it's kind, fully automated coffee roaster, custom made and shipped by sea. So, the goal is to roast my own beans onsite, as well as sell them worldwide. I am deeply passionate about everything I set my mind to, so I am certain that I have created one of the best coffees you'll ever taste. And if coffee isn't your thing, we're excited to offer all sorts of smoothies that are actually good for you, with probiotics and protein to keep you going.

And, if you're looking for more, we will have it. In the near future, we plan to open up the back rooms of our coffee house to classes for our community. The idea is that it will be a sort of wellness institute, offering all sorts of classes from tumbling for kids, to self defense, yoga and meditation, and even cooking classes and meal prep workshops. We plan to make Bed Head Coffee a destination where anyone can come to unwind, meet friends, learn something new, refuel and feed the soul. We love to travel and meet new friends, and hope to see you soon.
